Is SPF 15 going to give me enough protection?

Many people use SPF 30 or above with toxic chemicals in them. What they do not understand is that you can still get sunburn with such a high SPF when you are exposed to the sun for hours at a time.

SPF — sun protection factor — measures how long your body can be exposed to UVB before burning. For example, if a person's body normally takes 20 minutes to burn, an SPF 2 lotion can delay the burn to 40 minutes. So if a person normally burns in 20 minutes, an SPF 15 should provide 300 minutes of protection, but an individual should not plan on being in the sun for that long.

The key to good sun protection is to limit the time you are in direct sunlight hours, such as between 10am and 2pm, wear sun protective clothing, and use all natural sunscreens that are free of toxic chemicals!
